I’ve been struggling… not surprised are you?
The struggle is real… is what we say, but I have to ask, what is the struggle?
My struggle lately has been with sharing insights, knowing how to reflect Jesus, and what to cook for supper. Grief seems to get in the way of so much.
I did some intense reflection on Sylvia’s life, as I knew it, for what seemed like weeks. (The truth, I’m still doing it.) I paused on how she touched people, all people. And how she brought a light wherever she went.
I got a poke in my spirit when thinking that I thought of her more than I did Jesus… but then it came to me. Sylvia reflected Jesus!
Her heart was huge and she pulled you in! You knew you were important with her!
Her heart gave off this light that you could see coming from miles away!
But in all honesty… it was Jesus!
We all should remember Sylvia as actually doing what Jesus told us to do, love one another! I mean, she loved straight from the heart!
I’m still struggling with what to cook for supper.
The bright side, 2 out of 3 ain’t bad!
Greater love has no one than this to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. ~John 15:13
